I am waiting on my Stampin’ UP! Cheers & Sips Bundle but had my Celebratory Sips Designer Series Paper so I made a fun card for a college graduation this summer!

The inside is part of the outside! I used the retired Playful Alphabet Dies but you could you any dies you might have like the Mini Alphabet Dies that are currently available. On another card, I die cut the letters out of the white panel on the inside and popped the middle into the R. On this one, I just cut out the letters and adhered them to the white panel.

I have a quick and easy WOW card for you today that I am calling a DSP Fold Over Gatefold Card. It uses the gorgeous Florals in Bloom Designer Series Paper with the Pretty Florals Bundle.

I love this bright floral pattern on this DSP! You just score a 5-1/4″ x 12″ piece of DSP at 2″, 4″, 8″ and 10″ and fold into a gatefold that folds back so you can fold in the four corners. Attach it to a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of card stock. Add a 2-1/2″ square (turned into a diamond) bordered by a 2-3/4″ card stock square and attach to one side of the front fold back portion.

The sentiments come from the Year of Flowers Bundle- perfect to pair with the florals, right?

I used the retired Mini Treat Bags Dies to cut out the sentiment on the front.

After you score your DSP, you can fold it anyway you want into a gatefold. On this card, I folded back the four corner and tucked them behind but you can also fold them into the gatefold on the front. You can see that in the video below.

You can also add a diamond on the other flap if you want but it is not necessary. It does add some more fun especially if your sentiments work to add it on.

Happy Monday, friends! Wishing you all a wonderful week ahead! I have a quick card I put together last night using the Stampin’ UP! Beautiful Motifs Dies and the Beautiful Gallery Designer Series Paper.

I was so taken by this particular pattern in the Beautiful Gallery DSP, don’t know why but it just caught my eye. I used a dark Secret Sea card base that really made Peach Pie pop out in between the card base and DSP. The Beautiful Motif Dies are a stand alone die set that has some cute die cuts in it especially the one that cuts into the paper- the Lost Lagoon focal point under the Timid Tiger wildflower die cut.

I just happened to have a die cut with a Secret Sea MISS YOU on it leftover from the More Messages Bundle so I popped it on! A few Peach Pie gems and some scraps of ribbon finished the card off- and a simple inside using the strip that falls off when you cut the 6 x 6 DSP down.

I have a cute fun fold for you today that I named a Suspended Double Gatefold.

OOPS- I photomarked my cards with Turtle-ly when it is called TURTLE-Y! But…I am not fixing it!

To be sure, I did not invent this but did come up with my own measurements after seeing a card from Mixed Up Crafts and Daisy Chain Fun. thanks for the inspiration ladies! My Shaded Spruce card used sweet die cuts from the Turtle-ly Cute DSP.

A cute little turtle beekeeper I fussy cut out of the Turtle-ly Cute Designer Series Paper. The back piece comes from the Sweet as Can Bee Designer Series Paper.

You write your messsage on the back of the card:

Measurements: Card Base: 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 1-1/2″, 3-1/2″, 7-1/2″ and 9-1/2″ on the 11″ side, Suspended mechanism: 3″ x 7″ scored at 1/2″, 2″, 5″ and 6-1/2″ on the 7″ side, DSP on Card Base: (2) 1-1/4″ x 4″ for sides and 3-3/4″ x 4″ for the middle, DSP on the mechanism: (2) 1-1/4″ x 2-3/4″ for sides and 2-3/4″ square for the middle, White panel on the back: 3-3/4″ x 4″
