Have a safe and Happy New Year’s Eve, my friends!

I have a cute valentine for you today…You know, valentines are not just for sweethearts…you can send a valentine to a friend. It would put a smile on his/her face for sure!

I used a staircase technique I have seen on Pinterest lately. I came up with my own measurements on this one to make it easy for me…and you! Watch my video below to see how to make it…

Measurements: Card Base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 2-1/8″ and 4-1/4″, Inside: 4″ x 5-1/4″, Four steps from bottom to top: 1-1/4″ x 4″, 1″ x 3-1/2″, 1″ x 3″, 1″ x 2-1/2″, 1-1/4″ x 2″

I used the Stampin’ UP! Made with Love Designer Series Paper with Real Red and some pretty pinks- Flirty Flamingo, Strawberry Slush, and Bubble Bath. Honestly, it is really a challenge to figure out with pink it is…I have to lay down each pink to see which one matched best…lol!

Oh.my.gosh. The Stampin’ UP! Love Notes 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper is so darn cute. It reminds me of the old valentines I made as a kid:)

I did something clever so I could see both sides of the Love Notes DSP…

Watch this video to see how easy it is to do…

I even used the leftovers from the Azure Afternoon Gingham card to make another one using the same technique but with a smaller square.

I even fixed my boo boo…with an intentional pop up banner…who will ever know?

I got a beautiful card in the mail today…well, actually a few…but this one made by my friend Linda Mriso uses the current Stampin’ UP! Peace on Earth Bundle with the Traditional Labels Bundle so I am posting it today in case you want to grab this bundle. I will show my other cards in between the holidays:)

It’s an easel card…using the Stampin’ UP! Peaceful Garden Designer Series Paper.

I love how she used Shimmer Paper when she die cut the doves. They are all the same but my lighting kind of shadowed the bottom one:( The Cloud Cover panel on the front was embossed with the Peaceful Greenery Embossing Folder, and Linda added a bold Night of Navy sky with the pretty Hues of Blue Embellishments. A lovely addition of the Misty Moonlight & Silver Edged Ribbon finishes the card!

This card just makes my heart happy! I hope you all enjoyed it all well! I used this Suite in the September 2025 Busy Bee Bag but now….

I played with my NEW Stampin’ UP! Aspen Grove stamp set with the Stampin’ UP! Prayers & Promises stamp set!

I LOVE IT!!!!

To be truthful, I thought the trees were one large stamp at first but a closer glance showed me that the trees are all individual trees. I did a little researching, and I found out…a lot about Aspen trees. Check out this SITE. They are amazing trees- largest living organism in the world. Seriously, take a minute to read about them. I decided to make mine fall trees since the Aspen trees provide a lot of the beautiful gold you see in the fall. My color is Darling Duckling which I must say is not Crushed Curry or Daffodil Delight but its own yellow:) I did a little masking to get the blue behind the trees. I lined up my trees on grid paper to know how they would fit on my paper- 3-3/4″ x 5″ to be bordered with a 4″ x 5-1/4″ black piece, then I just plopped my block on top and they became one big stamp for me.

I stamped the image on scrap white and stamped some leaves to see how they looked and then cut them out to lay over the trees (masking) to keep the trees white while I blended on some Balmy Blue ink. Thanks to the SU catalog for suggesting that- I may have forgotten to do that!

I repeated the technique on the inside with another sentiment from the Stampin’ UP! Prayers & Promises stamp set. We all need those sentiments more than we would like.
