I decided to play along with Anne Marie’s The Paper Players Challenge #569 today.

I got out my Stampin’ UP! Art in Bloom Bundle with the cool 3D Hybrid Embossing Folder but this time just used the die and the embossing folder separately.

(Tune in Monday to see how I used the die with the embossing folder together.)

So, yeah, simple design to inspire me but…lol…ask me the dimensions…hahaha…I just trimmed all the edges and trimmed again and again and finally it turned out! I will get the exact ones for you soon. I forgot the bundle had that awesome ticket tag die for the sentiment in it- love it!

The Stampin’ UP! Welcoming Woods stamp set meets up the Stampin’ UP! Peaceful Cabin Bundle on this Bridge Fun Fold card. Some simple ink blending creates a pretty background.

I added some leaves to one of the cards…I like it with the leaves:)

Measurements: Card Base: 4-1/4″ x 8″ scored at 1-1/4″, 2-1/2″, 5-1/2″ and 6-3/4″ on the 8″ side, Basic White Sponged panel starts with a 4″ x 4-3/4″ piece and then cut 1″ off each side to make three pieces, Crumb Cake for cabin: 2-1/2″ x 5-1/4″, Basic White sponged panel on the back: 2-3/4″ x 4″

I was in a floral mood this weekend so I pulled out my Stampin’ UP! Blossoms in Bloom Bundle. The first card used just dies! Well, a little stamped sentiment, too;) Notice how the whole die fits on the card with the Fresh Freesia card base bringing color to the blooms.

The second card I made was a simple monochromatic stamped card layered with two white blossom die cuts adhered over the stamped image. I added a simple stamped sentiment on this one, too. I offset the dies on this card to create some white space on the design.

Then I decided to step it up. I stamped the blossoms and embossed the panel with the Stampin’ UP! Tasteful Textiles Embossing Folder. I still layered the two dies but this time, I die cut the thinner top one out of Basic Black card stock and layered it over the white one. The white heat embossed sentiment really pops off the black card stock:)
