Here is a fun way to use Designer Series Paper to make four fun cards!

PLEASE NOTE: The Designer Series Paper is “HEARTWARMING HUGS” not Trim the Town- I had that cardboard back in my storage sleeve for stability and just looked at it without thinking! I also changed up my cards in the photos below omitting the ribbon and adding a sentiment:)

Thanks to Robin Armbrecht for the inspiration for this card. She calls it Patchwork Stack and Cut.

Here are my measurements for cutting the four 3-3/4″ x 5″ stacked pieces of DSP.

The Basic White border on the card is 4″ x 5-1/4″.

The card fronts are 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ portrait and landscape.

I also made some with the Perfectly Plaid stamps and Tree Punch with the Peaceful Deer sentiments. Here are the measurements for the four 4″ x 5-1/4″ stacked pieces of DSP.

I got this card from my friend, Janet Munden. I wanted to share it with you not only because it is beautiful but also because it is a great design layout for a card.

She used the gorgeous Stampin’ UP! Blackberry Beauty Designer Series Paper along with the Gold Shimmer Vellum with the Stampin’ UP! Heartfelt Wishes stamp set. There are a few scattered Genial Gems and the stunning 3/8″ Gold Shimmer Ribbon, too!

The Gold Shimmer Vellum measures 3-1/4″ x 4-1/2″ that creates an even 1″ border on the front of the card. The DSP measures 1-1/4″ x 2-3/4″. I suggest placing the two pieces on the left and right first leaving an equal border on top, bottom and side. Then pop in the middle piece of DSP that creates an equal amount of vellum showing on each side. The clean and simple layout can easily be used to create an eye-catching card with a multitude of papers and stamps.

Repeat the measurements on the inside with a coordinating sentiment. I love the versatile Stampin’ UP! Heartfelt Wishes stamp set.

I made another card using the Spanner Technique. This time I used the Nature’s Harvest Bundle.

I used the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder on the middle portion that the flower sits on, isn’t it awesome? The Harvest Meadows Designer Series Paper is gorgeous, too! I did make the two sides of the card stock base measure 1-1/4″ with 1″ x 4″ DSP.

I did not put DSP on the inside…why? I didn’t have enough of it to go around in my classes…and like my momma always said…if you don’t have enough for everyone…you know the end:)

A fall Peaceful Cabin Bundle Fun Fold card for you today…it’s called a Spanner card.

It’s easy to create a new look with this Spanner Technique. Take a look:

The Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper is perfect for this fall card! I made one all Soft Suede and one with a Misty Moonlight Card Base to pull out the colors in the DSP.

You can even add some DSP to the inside to carry over the outside design.

Measurements: Card Base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″ on the 8-1/2″ side then cut in 1″ on both sides on the front up to the 4-1/4″ score line as seen in video. DSP: (1) 3-1/4″ x 4″ and (4) 3/4″ x 4″ for inside and outside, Basic White inside: 3-1/2″ x 4″. Soft Suede: 1-3/4″ x 5-1/2″ for cabin spanner.
