Stampin’ UP! March 2021 Paper Pumpkin “Here’s to You”

I made a few quick and easy cards with the Stampin’ UP! March 2021 Paper Pumpkin “Here’s to You”. I used some the Ombre DSP I got during Sale-a-bration in January and February. I love making an alternate card with my Paper Pumpkins first to show myself how the stamp set can be used long after I use up the supplies in the monthly kit:)

For some reason, maybe it’s my amateur photography skills…the card sentiments are fuzzy here but not on my phone? Sorry…in person they are quite crisp! And, my lighting must have been off since this is a bright Granny Apple Green and looks Old Olive? I would take more pictures but they are already mailed- but that is the goal so I won’t fret anymore!! The inside has a simple re-stamping of the front focal image. This is an A2- 4″1/4″ x 5-1/2″ sized card which is a half of a sheet of a 8-1/2″ x 11″. The DSP is 3″ x 5-1/2″ bordered by a 3-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ black panel.

It’s time to sign up for the April 2021 Paper Pumpkin “So Cool”

from March 11 to April 10.

So, what makes the April Paper Pumpkin kit So Cool? This vivid, summer-inspired kit includes two full sticker sheets and all supplies needed to make 12 fun-shaped cards with matching envelopes. But, even more cool: it’s the first Paper Pumpkin kit designed with kids in mind!

Kit includes enough supplies to make 12 fresh, fun-shaped cards—6 popsicles and 6 blank semicircles to color—and coordinating envelopes sized: 4-1/2″ x 5-3/4″. Kit includes card bases, 2 full sticker sheets, decorative die-cut pieces, embellishments, and more. Coordinating colors: Blackberry Bliss, Bermuda Bay, Bumblebee, Cinnamon Cider, Old Olive, Terracotta Tile. You can keep the creative fun going by pairing the So Cool Kit with the Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper (154567) featured in our 2021 January–June Mini Catalog. It’s a great way to use the kit’s stamps, ink, stickers, and more to further indulge your craving for summer fun. Plus, the paper is part of the matching Ice Cream Corner Suite (155984), so there’s virtually no end to the possibilities!

  1. Hi Cindy, I like your card. I would never have thought of putting green and black together, but it looks brilliant! Could I have the dimensions of the card please? Cheers and thankyou, Marilyn in the UK.

    1. Hi Marilyn! Thanks for the sweet comment. I find black works so great with so many colors- we just have to try it! My card is an A2- 4″1/4″ x 5-1/2″ sized card which is a half of a sheet of a 8-1/2″ x 11″. The DSP is 3″ x 5-1/2″ bordered by a 3-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ black panel.

      1. Thankyou very much Cindy, that was very good of you. Cheers and thankyou again, Marilyn.

  2. Hi… I really like the alternative cards you made. I am wondering: Is your black panel popped up with dimensionals? Is the stamped image panel popped up with dimensionals? Which dies did you use to cut out the image and layering panel? Thanks for sharing

  3. Hi Maryanne, thanks for stopping by with your kind words. I did not pop up the black panel. I only popped up under the black scalloped oval. I used the Stampin’ UP! Layering Ovals Dies to die cut the image and the black scallop:)
