Stampin UP! Art Gallery Bundle with Fine Art Floral DSP and Golden Garden Acetate Specialty DSP

March 12, 2021

I finally pulled out the gorgeous Stampin’ UP! Golden Garden Acetate with the Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper…oh, it is pretty, my friends…

Two of the three 12″ x 12″ Golden Garden Acetate overlay two of the Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper patterns. I carried the gold into the design with some gold twine, Gilded Gems, and Gold Foil. I chose to use Blushing Bride as my pink because it matched better to me than Petal Pink that is listed in the DSP.

Stampin’ UP! 6″x 6″ One Sheet Wonder Video Tutorial with Pretty Perennials

March 10, 2021

I have a fun 6″ x 6″ One Sheet Wonder Ensemble for you today! I used a beautiful pattern in the Stampin’ UP! Playing with Patterns Designer Series Paper to make four cards using the Stampin’ UP! Pretty Perennials Bundle and the Beautiful Friendship stamp set.

Here is a video showing how pretty the Stampin’ UP! Pretty Perennials Bundle is and how to cut a 6″ x 6″ piece of DSP into four corner pieces to create four cards.

I left a border of white around the corners of the DSP on the cards with the circle pattern.

I also made an ensemble using a striped pattern from the Stampin’ UP! Playing with Patterns DSP that had the same colors. On these cards, I lined the DSP up flush with the Basic White panel on the front and used the Peaceful Moments stamp set.

Measurements: A2 size card either portrait or landscape- take a piece of an 8-1/2″ x 11″ and cut in half either width wise or length wise and then score (and fold) that piece in half. Basic White panel on front and inside: 4″ x 5-1/4″, DSP 6″ x 6″ cut as shown in video, Largest Stitched Shapes Circle with a Basic White Circle slightly smaller to go inside, Scraps of white for flowers

Stampin’ UP! Friends are Like Seashells Bundle

March 8, 2021

Have you seen the craze of “pearlizing” your cardstock with Shimmer Paint? It has been around since Shimmer Paint came out but has made a comeback with the NEW Stampin’ UP! Blending Brushes! Notice how pretty the shimmer is on the shells- the So Saffron cardstock is the same as the card base to match the Sand and Sea Designer Series Paper.

My friend, Linda Heller, brought it to my attention and BOOM…easy as can be. I just used my Blending Brushes to paint Frost White Shimmer Paint on my cardstock. I then die cut my shells, placed them in the Stampin’ UP! Seashells Embossing Folder, and ran them through my Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine. After they were die cut and embossed, I carefully cut the die cut from top to bottom with my guillotine cutter so I could use one piece on the front of the card and the other piece on the inside.

I used the pretty Blushing Bride 3/8″ Metallic Ribbon and Gilded Gems on the front to pull out the shimmer on the cardstock. I used Rococo Rose ink on the front of the card on the sentiment tag die cut from the Stampin’ UP! Tasteful Labels Dies. I used Flirty Flamingo ink on the inside.

Stampin’ UP! Friends are Like Seashells Bundle

March 2021

So many ideas for the Stampin’ UP! Friends are Like Seashells Bundle with the gorgeous Sand and Sea Designer Series Paper are everywhere! Here is a sweet card inspired by my friend.

As I said, my card was totally inspired by a card I got from my friend, Connie Hobbs. I just paired it down a bit. But see how you can really jazz it up! Connie embossed the DSP and added another border layer. She also used DSP inside the Gold Hoop to stamp the sentiment and added some seagrasses cut from the Seashells Die.

Here is an easy way to attach the ribbon and Gold Hoop:

For the inside, I cut the ribbon in half and adhered it to the DSP- finished the card off nicely:)
