I have a few tips for you using the Stampin’ UP! Color and Contour Bundle…

I just love the Scalloped Contours Dies- the large edge scallop with the stitched detail is so pretty…along with the slits cut in the sentiment tag. The Bark Embossing Folder adds some natural texture to complement the country gingham and the wildflower. The NEW 2021-2023 In Color Jewels are a great accent, too.

I started with a 3″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Basic White and cut right along the 5-1/4″ edge with the large scallop die. I then adhered a 2″ x 5-1/4″ piece of gingham from the Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper to the bottom of the card front. I adhered the Pale Papaya strip with the ribbon to the white making sure to have the stamped tag slipped through it first!

I carried the large scallop edge to the inside. I started with a 3-1/2″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Basic White and cut right along the 5-1/4″ edge and slipped a 1″ x 5-1/4″ piece of gingham from the Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper.

Here’s a one layer card with just a few little embellies…I love how it stamps!

After I played with a variety of colors, I tried one with just Balmy Blue and went a little abstract…

The Stampin’ UP! Watercolor Shapes is a cool stamp set…this was my first inking of it, and I am excited with the possibilities it holds. I can see the shapes being a simple layering under images.

Here’s my girlie version of the Stampin’ UP! Hats Off Bundle…with some Stampin’ UP! Lighthearted Lines thrown in along side the Pattern Party Designer Series Paper.

As you can see I made two slightly different cards…just playing around with layouts. On the card below, I taped the 3 pieces of DSP together and die cut with the second largest Stitched Rectangle Die then added a Granny Apple Green Stitched Rectangle border (the largest one) around the DSP.

I love the sentiments in the Stampin’ UP! Lighthearted Lines stamp set that I used on the outside and the inside. Here is the Stampin’ UP! Lighthearted Lines stamp set.

I also made some cards for a swap I am in. I actually was trying to save time and did not put that extra green border but in the end, I think I like it more!!!

And…I used up all my perfectly exact cut scraps that were leftover from the card below that we made in class this month! The top and bottom pieces are 1-1/2″ x 4″ and the middle is 2″ x 4″. Remember those dimensions for a neat layout on any card!

Here is super cool fun fold using the Stampin’ UP! Beauty of Friendship Bundle inspired by a swap and a demonstration during a virtual SU Demonstrator Event.

The card looks so pretty with the Stampin’ UP! Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper and then when it opens up you have a space for a sentiment on both sides if you please…

So simple to make with a great WOW for the recipient:)

Since you have a sweet sentiment on the inside with the DSP, you just add a writing space on the back of the card!
