Stampin’ UP! Bamboo Beauty

June 14, 2021

A little story…on my quiet morning walks, there are a few clusters of bamboo trees along the way- they make the coolest sound when the hit up against each other when the wind blows – kinda peaceful and spooky at the same time.

I stamped the images on a 4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Basic White and then cut it out with the largest Stitched Rectangle Die (3-3/4″ x 5″) with another die (2-3/16″ x 3-3/8″) inside it. Then I die cut the Green Stitched Rectangle (2-9/16″ x 4″) and bordered it around the center one.

I did a little stamping off with the leaves to create some eye appeal. I also used a few retired Toile Tidings Glitter Enamel Dots to add a little bling.

I love that there is a sentiment to make a get well card or a sympathy card.

It’s a natural beauty…it’s a comes in a suite with stamps, dies, gorgeous Designer Series Paper and an embossing folder…it’s photopolymer for easy stamping…

it’s the Stampin’ UP! Plentiful Plants!

I used the gorgeous Stampin’ UP! Bloom Where You’re Planted Designer Series Paper on both of these cards. Notice how the patterns are completely different? This makes the DSP so versatile- traditional red/brown brick and the “Fixer-Upper” style, too! Take a look at the various patterns…and you can cut out so many of the images on the DSP:)

Watch a video I made showing some fun ways to use the hanging macrame pot holder.

Look how pretty the stamp images are:

I love the Gray Granite palette with the Just Jade and Shaded Spruce!

Stampin UP! What’s Cookin’

June 7, 2021

You gotta love a cute cooking themed stamp set…take at look at this NEW one-

the Stampin’ UP! What’s Cookin’…

You can customize a card in any color using the Stampin’ Blends. I used Polished Pink with Basic Black and Crumb Cake as neutrals on my card. I have this “thing” about using black cardstock somewhere if I use Memento black ink to do my stamping. You can play around with using Stampin’ Blends with other inks in our SU line but Memento is encouraged. Using Stazon black (alcohol based) is a no-no since the Blends are alcohol based, and it will become a big mess! I also used Crumb Cake as my card base since I used Crumb Cake to color my rolling pin and handles on the utensils. A little Linen Thread bow finishes it off:)

I love how you can die cut the stamped utensils or just die cut the cardstock to have the silhouette of the utensils. The cutting bord die has built in embossing- it looks really nice with the woodgrain.
