Frosted Gingerbread Gift Card Holder

December 13, 2021

Here is a Hidden Flap Gift Card Holder I received from my sweet friends, Connie and Louise. If you met them, you all would love, Connie and Louise- we have so much fun!

Connie makes such detailed cards that I always gush over. I love show and tell with Connie each month! Connie followed a video tutorial by UK Stampin’ UP! demonstrator, Jan B from JanBCards.com. Connie just modified a little and used different paper. Here is Jan’s video:

You open the card…

It flips over…

Then it lays flat…

I noticed Connie left it unsigned that makes the card itself an additional gift to use sometime in the future! My husband still does not get that concept…lol.

Thanks for buzzing by, friends…

  1. I LOVE this card! Went to Jan B’s blog to find video, so I can hopefully make some. Several years ago, I worked in my church’s nursery. Our custom was to exchange gift cards at Christmas. I made gorgeous gift card holders as part of my gifts but NEVER signed them—used a post-it note for message. I encouraged them to reuse the gift card holders. Every year, each of them would tell me who they used the gift cardholder for and how much the person loved it! You are correct to not sign the gift card holder. Thanks for sharing these.
