Stampin’ UP! Wildlife Wonder

February 18, 2022

You all know I love a fun fold/fun cut card…my favorite technique in cardmaking. If I can fold or cut a card in a different way, I am happy! I used the Stampin’ UP! Wildlife Wonder stamp set and the Beauty of Friendship Designer Series Paper. I love how the two sides of this one sheet of paper complemented each other so I could make two slightly different cards:)

Flip up the middle panel and you have an easy fun fold that is different from a standard card. I just cut in 1-1/4″ on the score line on each side of the front of the card so you see the DSP on the inside. The DSP in the middle is 2-3/4″ x 4″ and the two side pieces are 1″ x 4″. The bear is a great focal point on the two patterns of DSP.

I love how realistic this stamp is…and how versatile it is with all the sentiments!

We made this card at class, and my talented friend, Lori Demas, sent me a happy text showing how she used this fun fold technique to make this stunningly gorgeous card below with the Hand Penned Petals Bundle and the Stitched Be Mine Dies.

The As You See It Challenge #268 is a Fill in the Blank…

A favourite technique of mine is….FUN FOLD/FUN CUT CARDS.

  2. Love both cards. I am always looking for guy cards and the Wild life Wonder one will be a great addition. But oh, Lori’s lovely hand penned version is very special.
