Stampin’ UP! Peace to You with Hope and Peace

September 2, 2022

The Stampin’ UP! Peace to You and Hope and Peace are so aptly named. He brings Peace to You and gives Hope and Peace so they go so well together! They are simple block style printing so they only needed and perhaps only wanted to be simply stamped. I thought Starry Night was the logical color choice for my card stock and ink, too:)

I know the Stitched Nested Labels are “retired” but so many of you have them, and they are PERFECT to pair with the Jesus, Joseph, and Mary image! If you do not have them, the straight lines are so easy to fussy cut. I cut out the same size label from Starry Sky card stock as the stamped image and cut it in half and pulled it up to the top and to the bottom. To keep the cut edges from showing, I slipped a strip of the Starry Sky card stock underneath the white label and on top of both pieces where I cut it. Then it just needed something so that is how the silver foil came about! The Stampin’ UP! Merry Melody 3D Embossing Folder that sings out Joy to the World is the background panel.

I paired the Stampin’ UP! Hope and Peace stamp set on the card below along with the church image from the Stampin’ UP! Peace and Love set. I cut out the image with the Stitched Rectangles Dies and accented two corners with silver foil. I did try this card with Night of Navy but when I switched to Starry Sky, it just was the right color.

Thanks for buzzing by, friends…
