Here is another beauty made by my first and longest team member, Sandy Millken. She is a dear friend, and I am so very thankful for her special friendship for sure…and that she made and delivered this card to me before my Norway Trip! Oh, and did I mention, I love her hair? I tell her all the time how I love how it lays so pretty:) and she’s a snappy dresser, too!
Oh, that Lemon Lolly card stock is real charmer, isn’t it? I love the contrast with the NEW 2023-25 Pebbled Path In Color! And putting the sentiment on the die cut is so creative. I love the strip of matching Fresh as a Daisy DSP on the inside.
I added in the inside sentiment from the Stampin’ UP! Lasting Joy stamp set because it goes so pretty with the Oops-a-Daisy sentiment on the outside.
I can’t get enough of the Stampin’ UP! Irresistible Blooms Bundle…so I thought you may feel the same way…
My friend, Lori Demas, made this one with the beautiful Hello Irresistible Designer Series Paper. How pretty is that….so, so lovely. I forgot how amazing the Scallop Contour Dies look as a panel on a card and on the sentiment panel. The touches of yellow on the sentiment label really added to the softness of the card.
Lori is so fun to craft with- always laughing at the table. I mean, really, she is always laughing- I love how contagious it is! That is a wonderful quality to possess. I remember when we started crafting together- her son had just started 9 th grade, and now he is out of college and working in Pittsburgh. I consider the sentiment she put in the inside of the card…one I could send to her:)
I made a Flying Seagull card with the Lazy Days Bundle.
It folds up to fit in an A2 envelope. My lower sentiment is a bit slanted, and I think should be up a bit more- hard to judge when making a video…and in a rush to get ready for my trip to Norway…you know, 5 minutes to redo it might be the straw that broke the camel’s back- just sayin’…
Thanks to Susan Campfield for coming up with this creative Flying Seagull Fun Fold:)
I snipped off one of the glasses and put a bird over it to make the sentiment fit the image of taking time for yourself with one glass of lemonade. I just thought that fit, am I right?
