Sorry, my video was on Friday this week…but I have been riding on the Crazy Busy Train…and it would not slow down to let me off until today!
Here’s a great way to show off your pretty Designer Series Paper! Make a gift card holder card…
Watch how to make two cards with a 5-1/2″ x 12″ piece of DSP. Please note that I changed up the card AFTER the video was done. And, you can fold the DSP if it is non-directional in a few different ways! Just play around with the flap to see what you come up with! But the fun part is you get two at one time.
Wasn’t that a cool way to do the Christmas die cut? After the video, I changed up the orientation of the tag and the words so they were hidden in the pocket. You just attach the gift card behind the tag. Then I thought I needed a border strip on the pocket. And since I was going to change up the tag, I changed up the ribbon, too. The Pool Party Crinkle Ribbon on the tag is on the Clearance Rack right now for $3.60. And as I was rummaging through my twine, I found this wonderful retired thick Garden Green twine from who knows when?!? See…it pays to be a craft hoarder…lol.

Measurements: Card Base is A2 either (green) 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5-1/2″ or (Poppy) 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″ on the 8-1/2″ side, DSP is 5-1/4″ x 12″ scored at 4″ and 8″ on the 12″ side then put in trimmer and cut as shown in video, White inside: 4″ x 5-1/2″
