I just love the Stampin’ UP! Mixed Media Florals Mix & Match Memories & More Card Pack…now, that’s a mouthful! It’s a quick, easy, and inexpensive way to whip up some cards.

We made some cute ones designed by my upline Linda Heller at the Onstage in Raleigh in March.

It’s a fun gatefold that has a neat closure…all the things on this card came in the Stampin’ UP! Mixed Media Florals Mix & Match Memories & More Card Pack.

It was designed using a Petal Pink Card Base. You start with a 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ card base and score on the 8-1/2″ side at 2-1/8″, 4-1/4, and 6-3/8. The white panels are 1-7/8″ x 5-1/4″.

It’s a “no stamping” card. And how cute is that ladybug?

There is this little trick to make the focal image pop up and then keep the card closed. Punch out two circles and fold both in half. Now take one half from each circle and glue to the back of the large image circle matching them up at the fold lines. Now you will have two halves to glue on each side of the score line at 4-1/4″. You tuck in each side of the gatefold under the large circle to keep the card closed.
