Stampin’ UP! All Squared Away Slimline Card

November 5, 2021

I played around with All Squared Away Bundle this week…

I used the Stampin’ UP! Pattern Party Designer Series Paper- a Host Gift from the Annual Catalog for the background. I then just alternated black and white dies over white and black squares I trimmed down around the dies. I love the sentiments…

GOOD THINGS GROW..LIKE OUR FRIENDSHIP- they fit perfectly in the Classic Label Punch:)

My card base is 7″ x 8-3/4″ scored at 3-1/2″ on the side 7″ side. The black border is 3-1/4″ x 8-1/2″, and the DSP is 3″ x 8-1/4″.

Stampin’ UP! Always in my Heart Angled Tri Fold Card Video Tutorial

November 3, 2021

Have you seen the Angled Tri Fold Cards all over Pinterest? I had to try one…or two…

Check out how fun they are to make…

The first fold…

The middle with the fun belly band…

The third fold:

I made another card with the opposite side of that same patterned paper from the super cute Host Gift Pattern Party Designer Series Paper.

Now, the one below does not have a border on the left and right sides of the angled panels that fold in on the card. I used DSP that was 3-1/4″ x 5-1/4″ not 3-1/8″ x 5-1/4″ like on the card with hearts and stripes. See video for more explanation.

I used the Stampin’ UP! Art in Bloom stamp set on the inside of the black and white card since it has that pattern in the DSP- isn’t that cool?!?

Measurements: Card Base: 5-1/2″ x 11″ score in 3-3/8″ from each side on the 11″ side, Basic White inside: 4″ x 5-1/4″, DSP on card with hearts/stripes: 3-1/8″ x 5-1/4″ and on the flowers/stripes: 3-1/4″ x 5-1/4″- cut as seen in video, Belly band: 3/4″ x 11″

Stampin’ UP! Give it a Whirl Dies with Sweet as a Peach Bundle

November 1, 2021

I love the Stampin’ UP! Sweet as a Peach Bundle even more now that I know it works so wonderfully in the Stampin’ UP! Give it a Whirl Dies!

I used the stitched circle die in the Give it a Whirl Dies for my opening on this card. I made a template like I did with this Stampin’ UP! Stellar Birthday card. You can see it HERE. I also used the back side of the scalloped circle mechanism to stamp the sentiments to avoid the impression made with the scallop circle. Make sure you use a clean plate without etching on it so the “back” of the circle is unmarred:) It is so fun to whirl the sentiments around!

Did you take a close look at the You’re as Sweet as a Peach Designer Series Paper? Not only did the Tasteful Textiles 3D Embossing Folder make the slight indentation the rectangle die makes disappear but also added some fun texture!

I used Pale Papaya ink on my peaches with some Calypso Coral lightly sponged on it. I think I may make another card with the big, juicy peaches on it. Both images are so pretty! The white Round and Square Brad blended right in with the polka dots:)
