I had a glimpse of a lonely stamp on my shelf tonight and thought about how it was one of those stamps I just had to have one day…you know the how the story goes. So I decided to play with it and realized the CASology #33 challenge is Circles and this sentiment is a circle….so this is how the story ended:
Card Recipe:
STAMPS: Morningstar Stamps sentiment, SULittle Pieces (retired)
INK: SU Daffodil Delight, SU Basic Black Craft used with clear embossing powder
PAPER: SU Whisper White, SU Basic Black
ACCESSORIES: Random black/white brad, SU Stampin’ Dimensionals
TOOLS: SU Simply Scored Scoring Tool, Marvy Circle Punches, CB Seeing Spots EF
A fun thing about this card is it can be turned to a Portrait design and look totally different thanks to the circular sentiment!
LOVE!!! That circle sentiment is so fun!!
This is really fun! I love the dots that don’t go all the way across and the bold pop of yellow! Thanks so much for playing along with us at CASology this week!
Thank you, Ardyth. I added to my post that same card with it turned into portrait position because of the circular sentiment.
Thanks, Kristie. I just posted another view of that same card in portrait position;)
fantastic CAS design (and i love how you can use it either landscape or portrait!!)… love the black & white with the pop of yellow!! thanks so much for playing along with CASology this week!
Cute card. Love the pop of yellow – it’s such a positive colour.
Thanks, Caroline. I love yellow with black in design- in clothing, not my color;( lol
Thank You, Rosemary. I thought it was fun how you can turn it…some people like to write in a card landscape and some like portrait so now they can choose…lol
What a super card and the circle focal point is great with the embossing folder! I love the simplicity and the color choices!
Thank you, pvilbaum! I have had that stamp forever and never used it before today but hey, stamps aren’t perishable;)
I love your circular sentiment! Perfect use of the circle element! Glad you joined in on the fun at CASology this week!
Meghan, thank you. Circles were fun to play with this week- other ideas keep popping into my head!
Oh, I love the black and white with a pop of yellow! Perfect sentiment and dry embossing for our challenge cue. Thanks for playing along at CASology!
Thank you, Judy. It’s fun to challenge myself with CASolgy’s site each week;)
