SU Polka Dot Pieces with Hardwood Background and Itty Bitty Banners

I love when SU makes stamp sets to coordinate with my existing punches! I used the Bird Builder to punch out this fresh little birdie from the SU Polka Dot Pieces stamp set. And I thought, hey- why not a pretty posie to go along with it? I used the colors from Pals Paper Arts # 206 to create this card with the SU Hardwood “BACKGROUND” stamp that Stampin’ Up Only Challenges # 98 is asking us to use this round.

I popped the Hardwood background off of the Baked Brown Sugar panel on the So Saffron card base. This gave some added dimension to the card. Before I adhered it, I punched out the branch, wing, and bird out of the Baked Brown Sugar CS since you won’t see that when it is covered up!
