We had a great relaxing Product Class using the SU Christmas Quilt Bundle this past weekend. I say relaxing since I had my girls die cutting everything in sight on Friday- don’t worry Wednesday crew, I did a little prep for you all:) Here is a simple Christmas card we made using the coordinating Quilted Christmas Designer Series Paper and the Stitched Felt Embellishments (thanks, JM!).

I love the colors- so retro! I carried the colors inside with a stamped image of the tree. You can get a lot of colorful patterned strips from one piece of 6″ x 6″ DSP, too. I made these strips 1-1/4″ with a Blushing Bride Cardstock border of 1-1/2″. Notice how I pulled all the colors out with the Garden Green card base and the Soft Sky Baker’s Twine? Working with SU Designer Paper makes it a breeze to make a card that is balanced and appealing to the eye. Next time you are stumped with how to finish off a card- think of this principle.
