I also wanted to share a “Celebration” card with you using the Hold on to Hope stamp set.
I used the Sale-a-bration Shimmer Ribbon- the silvery shimmer on the black paired well with the
rhinestones in the middle of the flowers made from the Tree Builder Punch!

I call it a “celebration” card because you get to pick the celebration…
is it a birthday? a graduation? a baptism? a christening?
a confirmation? or may be even a bridal shower?

Don’t you just love those little corner images?
I can see those cuties adorning many a card in the future!

SU Petal Palette Silver

Happy Valentine’s Day, friends!

In the spirit of LOVE today, I have a wedding/anniversary card to show you using the
SU Petal Palette Bundle.
The Pinewood Planks dry embossed panel is just enough texture to be noticed but lets
the silver embossed roses take center stage on this card.

Silver Heat Embossing pairs so well with Smoky Slate ink.
I usually use Smoky Slate ink to stamp sentiments with delicate fonts, so much easier than heat embossing:)

It’s difficult to see in the photo but I used the beautiful silver foil paper to die cut the scallop oval that borders the Stitched Shapes oval. Some scattered rhinestones finished off the card wonderfully, don’t you think?

SU Charming Cafe Fun Fold Card

I have another SU Charming Cafe Card for you today.
At first glance, you may think it is the same card I posted a few weeks ago but NO, it is not.
I liked my other card but wanted to use the some of the neat framliets in the bundle so…
I had to come up with a fun fold card to showcase it!

Now, you may be wondering how I did this…well, have no fear…a video is here…

Measurements:

*8-1/2″ x 11″ Powder Pink Cardstock scored at 4-1/4″ on 8-1/2″ side and 5-1/2″ on the 11″ side.
Cut out the upper left quarter.

*Fresh Florals DSP (side strips on front) 1″ x 4-1/4″ , Whisper White 1/4″ x 4-1/4″ strips to border the DSP

*Whisper White 4″ x 5-1/4″ for inside, 2″ x 3″ for bistro set, 4″ x 3-1/2″ for floral border

P.S. The Watercolor Wash Background Stamp is found
in the Annual Catalog not the Occasions Catalog:)

SU Petal Palette Blue Bird

My chickadee has turned blue on this card…he’s kinda like a chameleon.
He turns any color I want him to…

I was earning to use some Night of Navy, and I thought Daffodil Delight would pop right of the dark background.
I just colored the beautiful images found in the Petal Palette stamp set with my Stampin’ Blends
and added in some cute little Perfect White Accents.
Don’t you just love that lacy element and the sentiment die cut that comes in the Petals and More Thinlits?

SU Apron of Love

Claire has a Valentine theme this week at The Paper Players # 379.

I think Valentine’s Day should be celebrated every day and in every way!
Let’s never miss an opportunity to share our love with a special thanks to a friend!

I made another checkered bottom on my card but this time with a white background! Just adhere five 3/4″ black squares to the bottom of the Whisper White 3-3/4″ x 5″ panel. I used a lot of the dies from the Apron Builder Framelits for this card- the apron, the neck strap, the waist ties, the oven mitt, the pockets, the baking utensils, the trim on the bottom of the apron, and even the hearts. What a super bundle! I think this card can be unisex, too. Add in those BBQ tools- the classic red and black fits both guys and gals! Just stamp DAD on the apron, and you have a Valentine for him or a Father’s Day card!

Those sweet little hearts go with the SU Only Challenges #193 Hearts a Plenty
so I am sharing it over there, too:)
