Stampin’ Up Woven Heirlooms Joy Fold Video Tutorial

June 19, 2019

I had A LOT of requests for a tutorial using the NEW Stampin’ Up Woven Threads Suite
with its Heirloom Frames Dies and 3D Embossing Folders
so I got to work and made a Joy Fold Card with
the NEW In Colors Seaside Spray and Terracotta Tile.

The Stampin’ Up Woven Heirlooms Stamp Set is so, so pretty…the font is just so elegant.
I also used the Pop Of Petals Stamp Set and its coordinating Four Petal Flower Punch.
And I can’t say enough how lovely the Woven Threads Designer Series Paper is…

Here is the tutorial:

Measurements:
Card Base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4. Cut 2-1/8″ off the right side of the front of the card where it opens
DSP: Outside Flap 1-7/8″ x 5-1/4″, Inside 4″ x 5-1/4″ with a rectangle cut out of the middle for the inside of frame
Smaller Opening Card: 4-1/4″ x 6-1/2″ scored at 3-1/4″ on the 6-1/2″ side
Inside White panels on smaller card: (2) 3″ x 4″
Frame: 3-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ (needed to cut out the rectangle frame that is 3″ x 4″)
Belly Band: Colored Cardstock 1-1/4″ x 11″, Whisper White Sentiment Band: 1″ x 11″
Flowers: 2-1/2″ x 5-1/2″

Stampin’ Up Floral Essence with Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper

June 17, 2019

Happy Monday, friends!

Sometimes the Designer Series Paper just has to be the star of the show!

The Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper features hand-painted impressionistic imagery in rich colors. Some of the colors are: Balmy Blue, Blackberry Bliss, Blueberry Bushel, Calypso Coral, Crushed Curry, Flirty Flamingo, Mossy Meadow, Old Olive, Petal Pink, So Saffron, Whisper White.

Most of the time when I design using DSP, I just accent with pieces of the DSP but I feel the Perennial Essence DSP works best as a full card front. I could not even add a stamped image to it- just a sentiment from the Floral Essence Stamp Set. The vellum Stitched Label Die adds some texture and embellishing without taking the focus off of the beautiful Impressionist design. I loved the Mango Melody peeking through the greens, pinks, and purples on the DSP so I used it to stamp the sentiment. I pulled out what I thought looked like Purple Posy and added it between the stitched circle and the Blackberry Bliss circle.

Take a look at the other patterns in the Perennial Essence DSP.

My Wednesday video showcases another new gorgeous Designer Series Paper…make sure to check back!

Blessings to you all for a great week ahead:)

Thanks for buzzing by, friends…

Stampin’ Up Scalloped Notecards with Time for Tags and Timeless Tag Punch

June 12, 2019

I just love the NEW Scalloped Notecards tucked back on page 168 of the catalog.

I used the NEW Host Stamp Set called Time for Tags and the NEW Timeless Tag Punch to make this sweet ensemble. I also used the NEW Stitched Nested Labels Dies to cut out the sentiments.

A set of notecards needs a pretty little box to hold them.
Thank you UK Demo Gaynor Boyce for the instructions.
Here is a video showing how to make it:

I used the retired Subtles Designer Series Paper Packs but you can substitute any DSP.

Measurements:
DSP: I need to measure- will post later today!
Card Box Flap on front: 3-3/4″ x 10 scored at 5-1/4″ and 6

Stampin’ Up Bird Ballad Laser Cut Cards and Tin

June 10, 2019

Here is one of the quickest cards I ever put together…and one of my favorites, too!

I just adhered a Pool Party panel behind the laser cut card front and die cut some of the prettiest paper ever to hit my stamping desk. I bordered the oval with a scallop oval and added a sentiment stamped on those awesome Stitched Nested Labels Dies!

The scalloped envelopes are beautiful, and the A2 sized cards are a nice weight of paper, too:)
They come packaged in a reusable and gift-able tin!
