Stampin’ Up Dino Days for Baby

July 8, 2019

Here is another card from a favorite set in the NEW Stampin’ Up Annual Catalog, Dino Days.
Isn’t she just so cute with her pearls?

Of course, this card easily becomes a boy card with a switch of
the Designer Series Paper and the color of the dino!

Remember this fun fold card with Mango Melody and Pretty Peacock colors?
You can see the video and card details HERE.

Stampin’ Up Hand Lettered Prose Dies in a Frame

July 5, 2019

It may seem simple but…it did take a little time!

Ever since the catalog came out, I have been itching to make a frame using
the Stampin’ Up Hand Lettered Prose Dies.

I finally did it!!

My suggestion is to cut all your Rococo Rose letters, then your Pear Pizzazz letters, then your Pool Party letters, and then your So Saffron letters. The opening on this frame from Ikea is 5″ x 7″ just like in the catalog sample. I drew a pencil outline on my black cardstock of the opening. I arranged the letters so they fit and glued down the Z first. Then I lifted each letter one at a time and adhered it to the black cardstock. In the small spaces scattered throughout, I used the stitched felt embellishments from the Follow Your Art embellishment Kit.

My first time using the Stampin’ Up Hand Lettered Prose Dies- I love them!
The stamp set they are bundled with is super cute- it is called Praiseworthy Prose.

But the dies are a great value for stand alone alphabet dies with the addition of symbols, too.

Stampin’ Up Band Together in Gold

July 1, 2019

Happy Monday, friends! Hope you all had a great weekend.
I had two fun stamping excursions- a stamping trade show on Saturday and a Stampin’ Up Social event on Sunday that included a piece of Key Lime pie:)
You have heard about Golfing Widows…well, Jim was a stamping widower this weekend!
I wanted to share this beauty that got my daughter’s stamp of approval on Friday while she studied in my craft room.  I love crafting with her company.

I intended to white wash the gold embossed flowers on the crumb cake panel like the catalog sample but changed my mind and left it just embossed.

Of course, you know Cindy cut the gold label out of the gold panel on the black card base and cut the white label band out of the white panel behind the crumb cake panel. I used my retired Hexagon Punch to put pennant ends on the white label band. It added a nice touch.

Such a great bundle…I have loved using it!
