Stampin’ Up! Positive Thoughts with Nature’s Thoughts Dies

I played around Saturday morning with the Stampin’ Up! Positive Thoughts Stamp Set along with the NEW Nature’s Thoughts Dies that came out with the February Sale-A-Bration Coordination Release. Do you see another new thing on this card?

The other item is the NEW Embossed So Very Vellum coming out on March 3 in the Second Release of Sale-a-Bration gifts! It is just beautiful! There are three colors featured in the 12 pack of 12″ x 12″ Specialty Designer Series Paper- Pool Party, Purple Posy, and Soft Seafoam. The So Very Vellum also looked great on the same color cardstock but I thought it really popped on the white card base. I tied a double bow with the Whisper White 1/4″ Crinkled seam Binding  Ribbon.

The Stampin’ Up! Positive Thoughts is such a beautiful stamp set and the Nature’s Thoughts Dies are perfect to die cut the images!

Happy Valentine’s Day, lovely friends!!!

Simple and sweet…stamp, die cut, and color.

I just love this card. The layering of the fence adds so much to the softly colored images. I die cut the Stitched Rectangle first, then stamped the flowers in Archival Basic Gray Ink and colored them with my Stampin’ Blends- Daffodil Delight, Flirty Flamingo, Mint Macaron, and Highland Heather. Then I stamped the fence, die cut it, and colored it with a Crumb Cake Blend. My intention was to have the little bird on the fence but the smudge above the flowers needed hidden! So, the Balmy Blue bird did his job of covering it:) I am not quite sure how I colored the cat…I think it was Daffodil Delight blended with Crumb Cake?

I was pleased with the simple addition of part of the fence with flowers on the inside of the card.

Stampin’ Up! Bonanza Buddies and So Sentimental Fun Fold Video Tutorial

Oh golly, the Bonanza Buddies are so fun!
I made a fun fold that was so easy to do with a lot of pizzazz thanks to the Stampin’ Up! Bonanza Buddies and the So Sentimental Bundles!

Here is a video showing how to make it with a neat tip to get more out of the DSP die cuts!

 

The Stampin’ Up! So Sentimental Bundle worked wonderfully with the festive Stampin’ Up! Bonanza Buddies Bundle. You can use so many colors on this card since the DSP has such a wide range of colors! You can also switch out the toucan with a lion or a koala bear.

The Stitched Shapes Dies paired well with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. A stitched oval would have looked great, too.
