The Paper Players #116 challenge asked for a cup this week. I found this retired SU set and it had a cup in it!! I think this is the perfect card to use for a gift card from a coffee shop!
Card Recipe:
STAMPS: SU Espressoly for You (retired)
INK: SU Real Red, SU Basic Black
PAPER: SU Real Red, SU Basic Black, SU Whisper White
ACCESSORIES: random black stitched ribbon, random black/white brad
TOOLS: SU Window Frames Collection framelits, SU 1 1/4 ” Circle punch (for circles in between above stamped image and red frame)
Note: I made the black frame in the main image by using the circles and a square to frame the image since I wanted some black to set off the image.
Here’s the challenge:
Wonderful and dramatic in white and black! That little brad is FANTASTIC!!! What a fun pattern on it! Thanks for playing along with us at the Paper Players!
Thanks, Dawn. At first I was going to go with warm coffee/latte colors then the stamp was telling me…DINER so I went with the bolder colors;)
I LOVE this…what a cute cup image; the colors are terrific; and that brad just tops it off! Thanks for playing with us at the Paper Players this week!
LeAnne, thank you for the kind remarks and the inspiration found at the Papers Players to use this fun stamp!!
