Merry Mojo…

The sketch for MojoMonday #266 is such a fun one that I see using again. I pulled out my Festival of Prints DSP and played with some coordinating designs. I find the hardest part of choosing a two-sided DSP is adhering the opposite side to the paper. I want to use both sides! I love this little stack of SU papers (*note to self- must order more).

Soaring by CASology this week…

CASology’s cue word this week is orange. I love pairing this color with others but needed to let it stand alone this week. I did want to have the baskets of the hot air balloons to be noticeable without taking over the focus on orange so I added in the neutral brown. I think I could have maybe even used a lighter shade of brown but I think this one will suffice to support the cue of orange.

Give Thanks to The Paper Players for their inspiration….

I think one of my favorite stamp sets in the STAMPIN’ UP annual catalog and the Holiday mini-catalog is the cute Perfectly Perserved. I guess it reminds me of my awesome mother! I made a little thank you gift for a special someone who deserves to be acknowledged…can you think of anyone in your daily or weekly life who could use a little pick-me-up?  This Paper Players Challenge #120 -Give Thanks entry could be it…

Freshly Made (picked) strawberries anyone?

I think this is the very first stamp set I ever purchased ! And, since I never let go of a stamp set…it was still on the shelf ready to be “picked” for Freshly Made Sketches #59. It is a simple set but I think it still has life left in it. One thing that I appreciate when using this stamp is the Stamp-a-ma-jig tool. Believe it or not, after 11 years of stamping- I discovered how valuable this tool was and how did I never pick up on it? I use it all the time now!
