It’s A Boy for Freshly Made Sketches # 69 and CASology #27

My first mobile upload !!!

I used FMS # 69 to make this Baby Boy card using Parker’s Patterns DSP–love this paper:) I had thought hard about how to use this sketch…and received the inspiration from a day time nap today…lol. It was a cold, drizzly day in Orlando, and our visiting family all took a quick late afternoon nap. After 30 minutes, I woke up and thought, “B-O-Y” three letters, three focal points in the sketch! So, I set to work trying to figure out how to put the card together. I found a sentiment from an Inkadinkado clear stamp set with “it’s a boy” and cropped out the boy using the SU Bitty Banners dies. I die cut the BOY from a kid’s CB set and popped it off some circles. I originally was playing around with Marina Mist Polka Dot Parade, and my daughter said it was too bland- too monochromatic. She saw the Parker’s Patterns strewn across my floor and said, “Wow, that’s awesome, I wish I had a shirt like that!” She loves BLUE…so I thought I would enter this in CASology # 27 as well. So, I set to work using that DSP…and this is what transpired.
