SU Polka Dots and Paisley

The Muse Card Club is a group of crafters who share how they were inspired by the Muse Club Designer that week. I like this because it gives a lot of room for interpretation unlike a color challenge or a sketch challenge (which I love as well). It may be a color, a shape, a technique that inspires a club member. This week I was inspired by Laurie Willison’s card – as were others- by the actual sketch i.e. design of the card.

I also liked the white on the Kraft card base. I was also looking for more of a graphic sentiment that I found in a retired SU set called Polka Dots and Paisley. I played around with the colors of Dynamic Duos #42– SU Garden Green and Daffodil Delight for these cards too!

  1. Your card is such a great take on Laurie’s MUSE card, Cindy! A few of us used the Duos colors and they look so springy and fun with the Kraft cardstock!!

  2. Lovin’ it! The white is fabulous on the kraft (mental note) and your sentiment panel is adorable. Thanks for playing with the Dynamic Duos.

  3. How clever to use the paisleys in the corner! It looks fabulous! I love the old Polka dots and Paisley set! Thanks for joining us at Dynamic Duos this week! ♥

  4. Such sweet cards – that stamp set is fab and you’ve used the colours and sketch perfectly! Thanks for playing along with Dynamic Duos this week!

  5. I love both of these. The white paisley design is gorgeous and I think the green and yellow accents work so well with the kraft. So clean and striking 🙂
