The Muse Card Club is a group of crafters who share how they were inspired by the Muse Club Designer that week. I like this because it gives a lot of room for interpretation unlike a color challenge or a sketch challenge (which I love as well). It may be a color, a shape, a technique that inspires a club member. This week I was inspired by Laurie Willison’s card – as were others- by the actual sketch i.e. design of the card.
I also liked the white on the Kraft card base. I was also looking for more of a graphic sentiment that I found in a retired SU set called Polka Dots and Paisley. I played around with the colors of Dynamic Duos #42– SU Garden Green and Daffodil Delight for these cards too!
Card Recipe:
STAMPS: SU Polka Dots and Paisley (retired)
INK: SU Garden Green, SU Daffodil Delight, SU Basic Black, SU Whisper White Craft ink
PAPER: SU Garden Green, SU Daffodil Delight, SU Whisper White, SU Crumb Cake
ACCESSORIES: Baker’s twine, clear button, random green metallic embellishment
Your card is such a great take on Laurie’s MUSE card, Cindy! A few of us used the Duos colors and they look so springy and fun with the Kraft cardstock!!
Thank you, Darnell. I want to use white on Kraft on every card since I was inspired by Laurie’s card!!
I love both of your cards Cindy! Great take on Laurie’s card.
Thanks, Kristie. There was so much to be inspired by in Laurie’s card this week;)
This is so pretty! I really like the scallops along the right edge!
Thank you, Tammy. I like that SU scallop edgelit – it is so fun to play with when crafting!
Great cards Cindy. I love the graphics on both.
Thanks, Bernadette. I don’t have a lot of simple graphic sentiments- glad I still had this one;)
Lovin’ it! The white is fabulous on the kraft (mental note) and your sentiment panel is adorable. Thanks for playing with the Dynamic Duos.
Thanks, Bobbie. I need to remember to use white ink more in on my cards!
How clever to use the paisleys in the corner! It looks fabulous! I love the old Polka dots and Paisley set! Thanks for joining us at Dynamic Duos this week! ♥
Thank you, Jenny. I think that is the first time I inked up a stamp with my white ink…lol…and I have had that white ink forever…
Love that you used a paisley print instead of flowers. So clever! And I love the flower behind the sentiment, such a nice touch! 🙂

Thank you, Lauren. I tried to find something to match the graphics, and there it was in the same set…I guess that’s why it was there!
Such sweet cards – that stamp set is fab and you’ve used the colours and sketch perfectly! Thanks for playing along with Dynamic Duos this week!
Thank you, Amy. I can’t believe I have never used that set before! It’s so fun;) PS- love your creations!
I love both of these. The white paisley design is gorgeous and I think the green and yellow accents work so well with the kraft. So clean and striking 🙂
Lovely card, the combination of colours look fab
Neat cards–great use of the MUSE inspiration!
