SU Love Ya Bunches

What song does everyone sing at least once a year, no matter what? The HAPPY BIRTHDAY song, of course! First written for kindergarteners by Mildred and Patty Hall in 1893 with the words “Good Morning to All,” it has turned into the most recognized song in the world. I added a little whimsy to CASology’s #36 SONG Challenge by using the cute SU Love Ya Bunches stamp set with “happy bird-day to you” sentiment…since Birds have WINGS I am going to share this over  at Addicted to CAS #8 too:)

  1. Love how you’ve used the two colours on this. Great classic layout and wonderful tie in to that punny song! Thanks so much for playing along with us at CASology this week!

  2. Lovely card. One thing that struck me when I looked at your design is that this is a great way to use smaller stamps/images and turn them into a great focal point on a card or project. Thank you for playing along with the ATCAS Wings challenge.
    Regards Florence.

  3. It may be the most recognizable song out there, but I didn’t know anything at all about its history! Thanks for sharing that! 🙂
Love the word play on this, the fun colors and the way you used the Rule of Three!
Thanks so much for joining us at CASology!

    1. Thank you, Melissa. I heard the story a few years back so I did a quick search and found the details. Imagine starting your day to this catchy tune!
