SU Four You Birthday Wishes with Perfect Pennants

It’s time for another challenge at The Dynamic Duos! This week’s Black Tie challenge #99 includes Rich Razzleberry and Black with a dessert option of Gold. I kept it clean and simple since I needed a male birthday card that was easily mailable.

SU Four You Perfect Pennants Chevron DD

When I was in school, I was always keen on instructions but this last week proves I am slipping, first not watching the ombre tutorial for the Friday Mashup and now…I did not see the gold option until I was uploading on our DD site and saw Annette’s and Julie’s gilded cards! Ooops…gold would have been easy to incorporate, too. But now, any of you who don’t add it will have company!

Card Recipe:
STAMPS: SU Four You, SU Perfect Pennants (star)
INK: SU Rich Razzleberry
PAPER: SU Whisper White, SU Basic Black, SU Rich Razzleberry, SU SAB 2013 Sycamore Street DSP (retired)
ACCESSORIES: SU Candy Dots (Ha- out of black ones so they are white ones colored with a black Sharpie!)
TOOLS: SU Banner Framelits, SU Chevron Punch, Stamp-a-ma-jig for that straight sentiment-Yea!

So, will you go the gold? I bet many will…can’t wait to see what you come up with for this challenge. Head over to the Dynamic Duos to see what the fantastic Design Team has come up to inspire you this week.

  1. Could have sworn I spied some Wink of Stella on your star, but perhaps that’s just projecting… Love your graphic masculine card. Chevrons and dots–yum! Happy Easter to you, too.

  2. I love this card! I can never seem to get the chevron border punch to work for me. You have inspired me! (And I was relieved when I saw that I wasn’t the only one who didn’t use gold.)
