More SU Wondrous Wreath

December 15, 2014

I have two more pics of the SU Wondrous Wreath Easel Calendar Box for you today…

I seemed to have misplaced a wreath (even though I have a handy drawer to keep them in!) So, we are going to have this spring flowery wreath with posies from the Pictogram Punches stamp set (punched with the Itty Bitty Accents flower punch) cover the months of April, May, and June. You could decorate your wreath with Happy Mother’s Day or Father’s Day for those months, too.

I think my favorite wreath is for July and September’s patriotic holidays-

just love that red, white and blue!

Four more wreaths to come with your surprise waiting at the end…

make sure to check back, friends!

SU Memorable Moments 25th Anniversary

December 12, 2014

The upcoming Christmas holiday had me thinking of silvery celebrations.

Little did I know, it would lead me to making a 25th Anniversary card

for my Friday Mashup #189 Challenge!

fm189

This week’s Mashup Challenge is:

Create a project using “Basic Gray or Smoky Slate & Silver.”

Create a project using “Dry or Heat Embossing.”

or

Mash it Up! and create a project “using the colors Silver & Gray with some Embossing.”

I think these colors stand alone -clean and simple- with a touch of elegance. I like that the Filigree Embossing Folder that I initially connected with Christmas (since its release was timely) is actually an all occasion embossing folder- notice the sweet little flower that sits at the top and bottom? I have had my SU Memorable Moments set for a while, and I was so pleased how easy it was to custom design a card using all the images in the set. Notice how the Labels Framelits coordinate with the stamp set? And, of course, I used my faithful Stamp-a-ma-jig to place each stamp in my sentiment.

but imagine all that you can do with them:

This will be my last time hosting a challenge as a Friday Mashup Design Team member,

and I would love to see you post in the gallery!

I am excited for you to meet the new team members joining the Friday Mashup in a few weeks- they are such a talented crew!
