Hello crafty ones!
I am excited to continue my designing role at Paper Crafters Sampler for this year. What a great place to get ideas for your current Stampin’ Up products and accessories. You can even use the ideas and sub in items in your crafting stash. Each issue comes complete with step-by-step instructions and product lists. A great resource for crafters and demonstrators, too!
This month’s sampler, LOVABLE YOU, is available now.
It is packed full with Valentine ideas and treats.
And, this year, Paper Crafters Sampler will include
EXCLUSIVE PCS TEMPLATES AVAILABLE IN PDF AND SVG.
The exclusive template this month is the Eiffel Love Tower that doubles as a tabletop decoration or treat holder.
The fully embellished sample will be in the January issue, available now.
Imagine making this yourself or with your son or daughter for a school project-
an A+ for sure!
Make sure to check out the Paper Crafters Sampler website to see the current sampler and past samplers.
The price is affordable, and the value is awesome with all the ideas you get!

Here is Lisa’s Friday Mashup # 192 Challenge:
Create a project with a “Embossing Folder Stamping Technique.”
Create a project with “Mix & Matched Shapes.”
Mash it Up! and create a “project using the technique with different shapes.”
I took a little artistic license and used a brayer to apply the ink to the raised portion of my embossing folder and actually did run it through the Big Shot.
It creates a different look with great texture. I used the fun new die cut from the SU Hello Thinlits. LOVE them! Put a piece of wax or parchment paper between the cardstock and die to remove the die cut easily although there are nifty little holes to poke the words out, too.
A little history and maybe a designing tip: I originally had the arrows flowing in the opposite direction and the sentiment in the lower third of the card but after photographing it, it just looked off to me.
I thought it was because the arrows and the cursive font should be flowing in the same direction so I changed it up, and put the sentiment in the upper third for a change of pace. (And of course, I had an adhesive rip to cover when I switched things up…lol) That seemed to fix my “this doesn’t look right” dilemma:) But now that I look at it- It’s okay. We are our own toughest critics, huh?
Hop on over to the Friday Mashup and play along this week! Get to know the new Design Team members as they come aboard- a group of talented crafters!

I just cleared my desk to create a clean work surface to finish up my cards/projects for my Annuual Stampin’ Brunch on Saturday where I will be showcasing the new 2015 Occasions Catalog and the 2015 SALE-A-BRATION brochure that runs Jan. 6 through March 31st.
During SALE-A-BRATION, for every $50 purchase you get to pick a FREE item from the brochure. Now, please know, these items are quality products just like you would find in any SU catalog, and they are ONLY available during SAB 2015.
So, this is your time to get “extra benefits” when you add to your stamping collection that I know makes you giddy as it does me- heeheehee:)
I have been getting emails and texts from my gals who are excited to see everything and play with some new stamps and accessories!
You can view the Occasions catalog HERE
the SAB brochure HERE
You can also access the catalog and brochure easily
on the right sidebar of this blog by pressing the photos.
I am excited to show you more samples but I better get them all finished!
And here are the WEEKLY DEALS, too!

Oh my, I bet you all are as worn out as I am from the holidays! I think my dishwasher, washer, and dryer have never stopped running. It was wonderful to have the house full but I am enjoying this little piece of quiet this morning:)
I managed to get Heidi’s Friday Mashup # 191 done but did not mash it up this week. But that’s okay…you can always pick one part of the challenge, too!
Create a project with a “Winter theme.“
Create a project with “Snowflakes.”
Mash it Up! and create a “Winter project with Snowflakes.”
I am in need of sympathy cards so I decided to use the SU Serene Silhouettes stamp set with its leafless winter branches to create a card with somber colors. I kind of went totally opposite of the light and airy theme with snowflakes.
I am currently fighting with my computer, iphone, and iphoto program so
please excuse the quality of the photo:(
