SU Sparkly Seasons with SU A Little Something

August 12, 2015

The cool August nights with the crickets chirping remind me that fall is quickly approaching. Last night my husband and I along with my daughter and her boyfriend went driving through the countryside with endless soybean and cornfields on both sides of us. The cornfields reminded me of the “corn mazes” that have become like mini fall fairs each year all around Western PA -actually across the USA. They usually have them with pumpkin patches around Halloween decorated with jack-o-lanterns on hay bails with the smell of warm apple cider in the air.

And…I have to say I was pretty spooked one year when I got lost in one!

I used the new SU Sparkly Seasons to create this fun Halloween card inspired by the new Holiday catalog. Since I used my 2” circle punch to create the hole for my pumpkin to peek through and my corner rounder punch to round the crumb cake panel,  I thought I would share it with the gang at The Friday Mashup #220 this week.

You will LOVE this new set coming out- fun snow globe images of a ballerina, nutcrackers, snowmen, and pumpkins. You can also make a hanging ornament!  I used the the new SU Seasonal Frame Thinlits to die cut the fun SPOOKY greetings out of new SU black glimmer paper!
The thinlits cut out the words spooky, snow, grateful, and falala along with other accessory pieces to match the stamp images.

The creepy little spiders and the inside sentiment come from the new SU A Little Something stamp set that has 9 stamp images covering the fall and winter holidays with Thinking of You, too.
It will be bundled with the new Square Pillow Box Thinlits die.
Yea! The die set has 8 dies that cut out the box and fun tags with little cut outs.

The new Holiday Catalog will be out on September 1st!

I will have some more sneak peeks coming up:)
