Another sneak peek of an upcoming bundle…
SU Sea of Textures coming out on June 1st.
Oh gosh…I just love this octopus…
and the sentiment … I mean, really…”thanks for reaching out”- love it:)
This technique is called the Impossible Card Technique.
So many crafters are uploading different greeting card samples
all over the internet right now based upon an actual playing card trick
called a hypercard trick.
Here is how I made my Impossible Card using the SU Sea of Textures stamp set,
the Under the Sea Framelits, and the Traquil Textures Designer Series Paper:
A bit of die cutting but worth the effort, don’t you think?
You can write a message on the back.
Fresh Fig Card Base: 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ scored at 2-3/4″ on the 5-1/2″ side. Turn 90 degrees to the right so the 4-1/4″ side is up at the top. Slide the left side to the 2-1/8″ mark and cut down to the 2-3/4″ score mark. Turn so the other 4-1/4
side at the top. Line up the left side of the paper at 1″ on the left side of the cutting groove and cut down to the 2-3/4″ score line. Line up the right side of the paper at 1″ on the right side of the cutting groove and cut down to the 2-3/4″ score line.
Fresh Fig Bridge: 1″ x 4″
Tranquil Textures DSP: (2) 3/4″ x 2-1/2″, (2) 1-7/8″ x 2-1/2″, (1) 2″ x 2-3/4″
Whisper White: 2″ x 2-1/2″for message, 3/4″ x 4″ for bridge
Tranquil Tide, Mint Macaron, Fresh Fig for sea grass, sand dollar, coral: 3-1/2″ x 4″
Tranquil Tide Netting: 3-1/2″ x 4″
Thanks for buzzing by, friends…
