Stampin’ Up Beautiful Friendship Double Z-Fold Fun Fold

Here is another card I made at a Shoebox Swap a few weeks ago. It is called a Double Z-Fold Fun Fold Card.

My friend, Sarah Rigby, created a card for us at the Shoebox Swap that had variations of stamping off and with more layers with Purple Posy cardstock. It is lovely. I just simplified it a bit and used black as my Z-Fold to highlight the black ink on the sentiment. I loved the White Polka Dot tulle she used on her card.

The Highland Heather cardstock is 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 2-3/4″ and 5-1/2″ on the 11″ side

The Basic Black folded section is 3-1/4″ x 10″ scored at 2- 3/4″ and 5-1/2″

The Whisper White panels are 2-1/2″ x 3 (x2) and 3″ x 4-1/4″

Stampin’ Up Praiseworthy Prose Bundle Shimmer Black Embossed Fun Foam Letters Video Tutorial

Watch this video to see how I popped up the Hand Lettered Prose Dies with fun foam!

And I embossed them with Shimmer Black Emboss powder.

The popped up letters make all the difference on this card…it looks so cool especially against the trendy geometric See a Silhouette Designer Series Paper.

Below you can see how the Glitter Fun Foam letters look compared to the Shimmer Black Embossed ones…both look super.

Stampin’ Up Rustic Retreat

I thought it was about time for a masculine card…
but then my sister-in-law would love this buck come November!

Did you notice the custom sizes of the Stitched Rectangle Dies? In the past, I have made some of my dies sand punches cut in different sizes by just lining up the cutting edge of the dies on an already cut piece of cardstock. But, this was the first time I did it with my Stitched Rectangles…oh my gosh…it was so easy because the stitches on the die fall right into the already cut stitches! So there you have it…those Stitched Rectangles have just grown even more versatile!!!

Stampin’ Up Flourishing Phrases with Hand Lettered Prose Dies

My daughter asked me for a card that was like “sending a hug” in the mail.
So…I did exactly what she asked me in the half hour before she wanted to pick it up…

When I made it, I die cut the hugs with the Hand Lettered Prose Dies and laid them on the panel I stamped with the Flourishing Phrases stamp set. It was too flat so I thought of little pieces of dimensionals but that would be tedious and not very stable. So I put the die cut letters on some white fun foam I had. I just die cut the hugs out of the fun foam, used Tombow glue to attatch the DSP hugs, and then glued them to the panel:) It looks so good! Now, if Stampin’ Up had sheets of dimensionals we could cut out shapes…that would be awesome!

I forgot to snap a pic of the inside…a simple repeat of the flourish in the lower right corner:)
