Stampin’ UP! Outside Inside Wallet Gift Card Holder Video Tutorial

I have a cool card for you today. I am calling it an Outside Inside Wallet Gift Card Holder. It can be a pop up fun fold or a pop up gift card holder. I modified the measurements from some cards I saw online, and it reminds me of a wallet!

See how it resembles a wallet? Now the super cool thing is how the OUTSIDE becomes the INSIDE easel mechanism! Fancy, huh? I made two of them…the pop up one using the Stampin’ UP! Nature’s Symphony Bundle and the True Blue Floral Deisgner Series Paper. Take a look at the video to see how easy it is to make!

And I made one with a pop up gift card holder using the Stampin’ UP! Product of the Month Fabulous Sayings Stamp Set.

Measurements: Larger Card Base that has the front easel on it and the white panel: 5″ x 6-1/2″ scored at 3/4″ and 4″, Card Base that folds in to close the card and then sits on easel with DSP: 4″ x 5-1/2″ scored at 3/4″, White panel and DSP panel: 3″ x 5-1/4″, Front DSP 3″ x 5-1/4″ (or you can patch in since the bottom is covered with easel mechanism), Easel embossed and raised up on front for card to sit on 1″ x 5-1/4″, DSP strip on 3/4″ pop up stand: 1/2″ x 5-1/4″

SU Foxy Friends with the Fox Builder Punch

I am playing along with the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches #248 created by one of my favorite designers, Linda Callahan.

I put the fox in for the shape and the DSP for the rectangle:)

I was inspired by a cute card by Sandra Mott where she cut the DSP into a row of foxes. If you attempt cutting the A Little Foxy DSP into rows of foxes remember they are not all the same size foxes. I am happy to say no foxes were harmed when I had to cut the DSP into 56 rows for my wonderful gals at classes this week!

Oh, I used the Duet Banner Punch and the Badges and Banners stamp set for the sentiment on both cards.

Stampin’ Up has regrettably announced that the Blendabilities alcohol marker line is now discontinued due to quality issues that are beyond their control. With the reputation they have for quality products, they did not want to continue with a product that is not working up to their strict standards. I know the markers that had no issues of drying out were fantastic, but I am confident IF there is a way for SU to find another manufacturer to produce them, they will do their best to get them.

New Gentle Peace stamp set, Weekly Deals, and Blog Candy Winners

This month’s fabulous photopolymer stamp set release, Gentle Peace, was created by Stampin’ Up’s lead illustrator, Kathy Pitt. The set was designed to work with Blendabilities to create the effect of brightly-colored stained glass. I am thinking how pretty it will be done with vellum and Stampin’ Write Markers, too. My heart leapt for joy when I saw this stamp set- so lovely- can’t wait to order it!!!
