I recently purchased some gorgeous ribbon off the SU Clearance Rack and got to use it on the FMS #72 this weekend. I loved the Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla combo so added some pretty hearts from the Hearts-a-Flutter framelits and the SU hearts dies. I popped on a cute little heart button I didn’t know I had when I was scrounging through my red button jar:) I had some leftover corrugated cardboard from a project my daughter did at least 8 years ago in junior high and used it for one of the hearts! I just have to post her ship cause I cannot let go of it…
Anyhow, here’s my card:
What a great card! It is simple, yet makes such a statement with the striped ribbon, heart and embossing. Just love it!
Thank you, Diane. I thought it needed to be simple because the heart was embossed and the ribbon was bolder…I am happy you saw it that way:)
Fabulous, Cindy!! I love the texture on the heart and your lovely ribbon use! Glad you joined us this week at FMS!
Thanks, Jennifer. I have been wanting to use Kraft color with Very Vanilla and a red color…finally did it…
Congrats on being picked!! I love your card!! It is so stunning it just grabbed my eye the red really pops on the white. The embossed heart is just yummy.
Thanks so much, Kelli. Your comments put a big smile on my face;)) Looking forward to cruising over to your blog…
Well, Cindy. I think anyone else who entered this particular FBS challenge can kiss their chances of winning goodbye. Picture me, bowing and pinning!!
