Soft and Subtle with Pretty SU Buttons…

Oh, swoon….the Dynamic Duos # 39  soft and subtle colors of  SU Pink Pirouette and SU Pool Party just make me melt. I am in love with the SUDesigner Button packs and used one of each design on this card. They just feel like little gems in my hand. I am saving this for a special occasion. I used the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set- a must have for every holiday and sentiment need. So glad I invested in it. The Sale-A-Bration promotion was not forgotten on this card either- I used ribbon available now!

It’s SU Bloomin’ Marvelous Again for Stampin’ Up Only Challenge #64

You know what happens if a stamp set sits on your crafting space too long…you will pick it up and use it again! For me, that is great because I have some sets I feel like I have only used once or may not have even used yet after having for- I am sad to say years:( How does that happen? I just keep saying to myself, “They are not perishable and will get used sometime.” It helps rationalize my need to get more and not let go of any- heeheehee, she chuckles. Sooooo, here is another card using  SAB Sycamore Street DSP/ribbon bundle and the sweet little hummingbird and flowers from the SAB Bloomin’ Marvelous set. I conserved my mojo by using a similar image design from a day ago but larger and bolder.  I am entering this in the SU ONLY Challenge #64  (my first time on this site) since it is all SU products and focuses on SAB 2013 where you can earn free items for a $50 purchase!

SU You Are Loved for Freshly Made Sketches #72

I recently purchased some gorgeous ribbon off the SU Clearance Rack and got to use it on the FMS #72 this weekend. I loved the Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla combo so added some pretty hearts from the Hearts-a-Flutter framelits and the SU hearts dies. I popped on a cute little heart button I didn’t know I had when I was scrounging through my red button jar:) I had some leftover corrugated cardboard from a project my daughter did at least 8 years ago in junior high and used it for one of the hearts! I just have to post her ship cause I cannot let go of it…

Anyhow, here’s my card:

A FairyTale Card for CASology #30…

I was trying to get a very fine-lined FairyTale stamp inside a SU framelit this morning for CASology #30. No matter what I did…it kept smearing or it would not stamp all the way- frustration set in. As I looked at the framelit…I thought it looked like a mirror to me. A mirror? Hmm…Snow White has a mirror in it! I went to work designing the mirror with SU’s fantastic Silver Glimmer Paper and large rhinestones, and then realized I needed a sentiment! I am using for the first time — a computered generated sentiment. I finished off the inside with another sentiment. Then, I smiled in my mirror;)
