    1. Thank you, Bernadette. It was an interesting card to come to completion. Simple technique but I kept messing up one of the steps three times- oh well, now I have some scrap paper which, of course, I don’t have enough of…lol.

  1. Cindy, this is such a creative approach to the one-layer card style! I love how it came out and how the image carries into the inside of the card as well. SO beautiful! Thank you so much for joining us this week at the Paper Players! 🙂

  2. Oh for crying out loud! Immediately pinned this wonderful card I have to CASE–totally love it, Cindy! You’re an amazingly talented cardmaker!

  3. I can’t figure out how you got the front to line up!!! I know this is an old Post…just hoping you’re still around to help me.
    😳

    1. Same here. I wonder the same thing. Now it’s a REALLY old post. How DID the front get lined up? The only thing I can figure is that the front was stamped, then the inside was stamped on a separate paper, lined up to the front, cut to size, then adhered to the inside. Wait. I have a better idea. Maybe a Misti stamp positioner was used. If the folded outside of the card was the same size as the insert, the Misti would stamp on the identical position for each piece of paper.

  4. I would love to case this card and wondering if you could explain how you made it. Any help would be very much appreciated.

    1. Hi, Linda…let me get the gray matter working…trying to remember how I made it…will think on it and get back to you. Thanks for the encouraging words!

    2. I think it was a really old die with the three squares in it– thinking it was made my Sizzix. It was chunky and you put the dies in the box and it went through the Big Shot. I die cut the front of the card first. Then I also made a mask with copy paper with the three squares cut out. I put the mask on the inside lined up with the openings on the front. I then opened the card and then sponged the yellow squares. I stamped the tree over the sponged squares and then closed the card, and I used the good old Stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the tree on the outside with the inside stamped tree I could see through the squares. It was almost 10 years ago before a Misti or Stamparatus were around. Does that make sense?
