I wanted to use some of my Parker’s Patterns DSP before it retires next month. It is such a great DSP for masculine cards or kid/teenage cards. I love it- the colors go together so nicely. I used the Fab Friday # 17 sketch challenge to create this fun card:
Did you notice how the jeans stamped with faded knees? I was not trying to make it look that way but when it stamped that way- I liked it!
Card Recipe:
STAMPS: SU Patterned Occasions
INK: SU Not Quite Navy, SU Cherry Cobbler
PAPER: SU Not Quite Navy, SU Marina Mist, SU Early Espresso, SU Very Vanilla, SU Daffodil Delight
ACCESSORIES: SU Natural Trim Ribbon, random brads
TOOLS: SU Corner Punch and Slot Punches (both retired), SU Word Window Punch, SU Houndstooth EF
Love that Natural Trim tie on your tag! Looks great with your “worn” jeans! Thanks for sharing at Fab Friday!
Thank you, Amanda. I do like that Natural Trim- so rustic and versatile with masculine or vintage…
Thank you, Amanda. I just got that Natural Trim- love the look and feel of it;)
The DSP, the EF and the jeans are a perfect match for each other! I just love those jeans! Thanks so much for joining us at Fab Friday!
Thanks so much. I had fun making this one;)
This is so fun! I love all of the texture that the embossing and the ribbon give to your card. The DSP is perfect with the stamped image. Thanks for playing at Fab Friday!
Thanks, Marla. I love all the colors in Parker’s Patterns DSP- so versatile- sad it is leaving:(
