SU Wild about Flowers

July 1, 2015

I have been blessed to know so many wonderful people in my life. And one of the most thoughtful, sweet, caring women I know is retiring tomorrow! She has been a nurse for many, many years enriching the lives of everyone she touches. I am so excited for her new adventures visiting her kids, crafting, and I am sure serving others as she did her parents that she lost in the last two years. She still has and shares the seeds that her father harvested from his garden. So, when I saw the retirement sentiment with the new SU Wild about Flowers stamp set- I knew it was meant for her.

Happy Retirement, Jan!

I was inspired by Nance’s sketch and her card at The Paper Players Challenge # 251.

I loved the crisp color of Watermelon Wonder with Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, and Old Olive. I used the new Lots of Labels framelits to die cut the image. And, I love that Triple Banner Punch- so easy to create the pennant banners!
