Stampin’ Up! Happy Dies with Stitched Stars Dies

I tend to let things sit on my desk for a bit…maybe it’s just laziness…lol… but a lot of times, it sparks inspiration for another card idea!

I now have an anniversary card for my hip son and daughter-in-law! I used the Stampin’ Up! Rainbow Glimmer Paper that I used on my card on Monday. I  started with a 3-3/4″ x 5″ panel of Rainbow Glimmer Paper. I die cut some Stitched Stars from the upper portion of the Rainbow Glimmer panel and die cut the Happy word  using the Stampin’ Up! Happy Dies on the bottom portion of the panel. I then popped up some Stitched Stars I cut from another panel that I had with the other colors that gave a contrast to the Happy background panel. A few retired Glitter Enamel Dots finished off the clean and simple card that my daughter-in-law will love!  Of course, the Well Written stamp set is an all occasion stamp set that comes in handy all the time!

Stampin’ Up! Gnome for the Holidays Surprise Gatefold Card Video Tutorial

I was never really drawn to GNOMES but the Stampin’ Up! Gnome for the Holidays
is just too darn cute!!!

I am now a Gnome lover!

This card was inspired by Jennifer McGuire’s Surprise Gatefold Technique,
I modified mine a bit to make it even easier!

NOTE: Be sure to line up your pattern on your Designer Series Paper on each side of the gatefolds.I fixed mine in my photos but you will notice I had the paper upside down and the plaid pattern was not lined up!!! Also, to center the gnome on the right gatefold so it is covered by the left larger square, turn him over onto the larger left rectangle not upside down!

I just love the Snowfall Accents Puff Paint! Fun, fun, fun!

Stampin’ Up! So Much Happy Bundle

I finally cut into my gorgeous Stampin’ Up ! Rainbow Glimmer Paper!

You can use larger pieces of the Rainbow Glimmer Paper for a dramatic ombre effect or use smaller pieces of a specific color—it’s like having a multipack of colors on two sheets. I used the Glimmer Paper with the Stampin’ Up! So Much Happy Bundle to make this fun, easy card. 

 I cut my Rainbow Glimmer Paper to 3″ x 4″ so I got 9 panels out of one sheet! I placed the panel behind the two HAPPY words that I die cut out of the card base with the Happy Dies. From another project, I had the lower portion of the Glimmer that has the yellow, orange and green hues so I die cut the balloons and added simple white strings and a bow. The die cut that holds the sentiment comes from the Stampin’ Up! Tasteful Labels Dies.

June 2020 Paper Pumpkin Box of Sunshine Projects

I almost forgot to share my June 2020 Box of Sunshine Projects with you all!  I made a few fun items to send a little sunshine…let’s start with my Big Box of Sunshine. I used the Stampin’ Up! Daisy Punches to create a cheerful gift.

 I used the Daisy Lane stamp set and the two Daisy Punches to decorate a card to accompany my gift inside. l I just loved the gold accents all through this kit!

I had some mini wreaths in my craft closet so I pulled one out to see if it would fit in the Paper Pumpkin box…and it did!

The bright daisies with a sentiment from the June 2020 kit really conveys sunshine to me.

I also used one of our new Mini Paper Pumpkin Boxes to create a tasty little treat of sunshine. I used one of the the card bases to decorate the box with a sentiment from the June 2020 Paper Pumpkin Box of Sunshine and a handmade sentiment using the Make a Difference stamp set in our Annual Catalog. I think the fonts worked well together.

Hmmm…why is EMMERGENCY spelled with two M s?

When you open it up…a cute little 3 x 3 note with test tubes from a past Paper Pumpkin that I filled with yellow M & M candies…a taste of sunshine in an emergency!

And it took two of the “really big” bags of regular size and mini M&M candies to get these filled! The bags now look so funny without any yellow M&M candies in them! And I don’t think there are equal numbers of each color after doing this project- just sayin’…
