We went to visit our son in Jacksonville this week and stopped off in St. Augustine. We strolled along the streets looking in the shops, and I could not resist this stamp set!! I got home and set to work on Freshly Made Sketches #58. It is hard to see because Night of Navy is so dark but it really pops of the page!!!

Carly turns 21…
I have been waiting to post this apron card made for my neighbor and my daughter’s college roomie, Carly, who turned 21 last week. Carly LOVES to bake and even made an apron before the fall semester started so I thought this card was perfect for her. Carly’s Aunt Diane just slipped a gift card into the pocket on the apron front made with the the pear paper and rick rack.
Here’s the inside of the card opened up:

Hydrangea Retro Sketches # 34…
I absolutely, positively adore hydrangeas! I love the variety of colors God painted them. The are so lovely in bloom and equally gorgeous as a dried arrangement. I will never forget making table centerpieces for Meredith and Evan Slee the night before their wedding..we just clipped the flowers right of the bush in the back yard where the beautiful reception took place. I might add that Evan was heading to Afghanistan to serve for the first time (thank you, Evan, for your second tour taking place now!), and the wedding was planned in less than a week! And, it was one of the most inspiring and heartfelt weddings I have ever attended:)
