I just love the fall colors at Pals Paper Arts #144 this week. They are warm yet cool a the same time. I don’t think allium can be a mustard color but in the world of cardmaking, anything goes to finish a challenge!

Mojo Trick or Treat…
I was making some Halloween cards for a friend and thought the Mojo Monday # 262 sketch would be perfect to showcase some Halloween colors and motifs.

Played around some more with the SU Quint-Essential Flower single stamp. This time a veered from my usual darker earth tones and brightened things up with Yellow, Green, and Orange! And, I liked the change. It even matches my blog background!Â

Mojo Monday and Colour Q challenges were Time Well Spent…
I spent some time yesterday putting together two challenges, one with a sketch on Mojo Monday #261 and one with colors on ColourQ # 157. As I mentioned before, a have some  great stamp sets I have accumulated that I have not even used. But as Wendy and I always say…they don’t have an expiration date!! So, I pulled out an adorable retired SU set called Time Well Spent which  really spoke to me after getting to share stamping with some dear friends this past week. (Smile)

I found a new challenge — CASology
I came across a new challenge spot-CASology–the study of CleanAndSimple cards. I like doing challenges because it keeps me motivated and also allows me to use the abundance of stamping supplies floating around me!! Â This week’s CASology challenge was…ZOO. I have had the coolest giraffe stamp staring at me from afar for about two years now just begging for some attention;) Well, he finally found his place on this card. To keep it simple, I stamped the image on the card base itself and then stamped two more images. I cut out the the main face of the giraffe without the ears and eyelashes and then just the nose and mouth. I popped up the two cut images off the main stamped image with dimensionals. I found a cute sentiment that I have had for who knows how long that fit this guy’s size!! I have to say that “I love every inch of this stamp!!!” Hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it- clean and simple.
